The Flight of Jackie Cochran tells the remarkable story of “the most famous pilot you’ve never heard of”—a woman who shattered aviation records, broke the sound barrier and helped change the course of history, only to be largely forgotten by it.
Available on Mondays and Wednesdays, the new tours immerse visitors in behind-the-scenes experiences exploring how the aircraft and spacecraft at the world-famous San Diego Air & Space Museum are created, curated and crafted.
