13th Annual Super Safety Seminar Day

(March 14, 2007) - The San Diego Flight District office of the FAA and the Air & Space Museum will host the 13th annual Super Safety Seminar Day on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Museum's Gillespie Field Hangar, 335 Kenney Street, El Cajon 92020. The public is also invited to attend.

The Aircraft Owners' and Pilots' Association (AOPA) Air Safety Foundation will present the lead off seminar on handling in-flight emergencies. Other topics will include special use airspace, instrument flying, mountain flying, winter weather hazards, working with air traffic control (ATC) and many more relevant aviation safety topics for pilots, people interested in being pilots and flying spouses.

Co-sponsors of this event are the San Diego Air & Space Museum, AOPA, the FAA Safety Team, and the San Diego Aviation Safety Counselors. Transportation from the Gillespie transient ramp to the event venue will be provided for people who wish to fly into Gillespie to attend.
