education overview
about the education department
Education is the number one priority of the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Through our guided tours, museum classes, outreach programs, competitions and much more, visitors of all ages can be inspired and educated in science, history, technology, art and world culture.
Whether you are a kid looking for some fun, a teacher searching for the perfect field trip, or simply seeking an interesting and fun experience, we have something for you!
By engaging senses and deductive skills, we not only pass on knowledge, we also help our visitors discover for themselves by interacting with real objects, building, testing and experimenting. By coming face to face with history and technology in the unique ways only our museum can offer, our visitors become increasingly motivated to learn. We hope this motivation is part of a lifetime of learning!
Thank you for making the San Diego Air & Space Museum part of your learning experience: we look forward to seeing you very soon!
