film & audio collection
The Museum holds more than 5,000 titles of films, video tapes (some commercial), phonograph records, audio tapes (reel-to-reel, cassette, and cartridge), film strips, DVDs, and CD-ROMs.
The Archives team is in the process of digitizing rare films and videos, which are being made available to the public on the Museum's YouTube Not for Profit Channel. These items, which include never before seen footage, highlight local and national aviation an space history, as well as historic figures such as Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart.
Most of the audio visual collection, including links to digitized items, can be searched in the online catalog, AeroCat. The Museum's collection of casette and reel-to-reel tapes has been recently entered into the online catalog and is now searchable!
