SpaceUp Unconference - This Weekend!
The San Diego Air & Space Museum is proud to host the San Diego Space Society's newest endeavor, SpaceUp. For two days at the Museum, attendees will be surrounded by historical space artifacts as they discuss the future of space exploration in a new type of meeting called an unconference.
SpaceUp is the first public space unconference, where participants decide what to discuss. All attendees are invited to give a demo, present a talk, or participate in a panel or roundtable. Other unconferences (often called BarCamps) have been held about technology, science, transit, and even cupcakes, but SpaceUp San Diego is the first to focus on space exploration. Attendees will include leading local engineers, scientists, tinkerers, advocates, and students who want to explore space (or are already doing so).
SpaceUp will be held 27-28 February 2010. Registration is $75. For more information visit http://www.spaceup.org
